Researchers are warmly welcome to our open seminar activities. Within SIHW, there are both subject-specific seminars and workshops on research methodology.

All seminars are in English if not only attended by Swedish language speakers or stated otherwise. They are either held at the School of Health and Welfare or digitally by Zoom. We have no hybrid seminars this spring.

Digital and physical primary health care in Sweden – a hot topic in integrated care

Presenters: Felicia Gabrielsson Järhult and Ingemar “Pingo” Kåreholt. Felicia is project leader, doctoral student, and lecturer at the Department of Quality Improvement and Leadership (AKL), Pingo professor in Gerontology at the Institute of Gerontology (IFG).

REWHARD - Using survey and register data in research

Welcome to a seminar on using survey and register data in research on living conditions, working life, welfare, health and sickness absence, organised by the research infrastructure REWHARD.

The programme includes presentations of the longitudinal data and services that REWHARD can offer researchers through the nodes SLOSH, LNU, IMAS and STODS.

The seminar is open to researchers and doctoral students interested in using survey and register data in their research.

Seminarium inom Tema Våld på Hälsohögskolan

Two project results within the theme Violence will be presented, by Nina Åkerlund (ASA) and Helena Kilander (AKL).
The seminar is in Swedish if no English speaking person attends, and is held in Ga529 in the School of Health and Welfare.

Welcome to workshops about research methods at School of Health and Welfare. The workshops are developed for PhD students as well as junior and senior researchers with an interest in learning more about research methods, and focus on study design and analysis of data.

On Feb 6 the qualitative workshop will be led by Monika Allgurin The workshop gives you the opportunity to discuss your research, and if you want to discuss one of your studies/papers, please contact: monika.allgurin@ju.se.

On April 29 the workshop will be led by Nina Gunnarsson. If you wish to discuss one of your studies/papers, please contact: nina.gunnarsson@ju.se.
