Lars Eriksson är engagerad i forskningsprojekt kring funktionella ytor.

Biografi

Lars Eriksson är född 1964 och uppvuxen i Bromma. Efter studentexamen som gymnasieekonom, följde en militär utbildning till fänrik. Därefter påbörjades en yrkeskarriär inom teknisk utveckling parallellt med konstnärliga studier. År 1989 började Lars Eriksson utbildningen till industridesigner vid Designhögskolan i Umeå där han 1994 avlade en MFA i industridesign.

Under senare år har Lars Eriksson inriktat sig mot undervisning och forskning. Under två år ansvarade han för en masterutbildning vid Designhögskolan i Umeå. År 2002 tillträdde han som lektor i design vid Högskolan i Halmstad där han startade upp Design i Halland i samarbete med SVID.

År 2006 tillträdde Lars Eriksson som tf professor i industridesign vid Tekniska Högskolan och år 2007 tillträdde han som professor i industridesign vid Tekniska Högskolan.
