JU is granted scholarships for SEK 1.2 million from SIDA
Jönköping University has applied for 40 scholarships for the Minor Field Studies (MFS) programme, funded by SIDA, and has been granted the opportunity to announce all 40 places. (Total funding granted is SEK 1,200,000.)

New research school to strengthen the digitisation of teacher education programs
Jönköping University (JU), together with nine other Swedish universities, received 40 million SEK from the Swedish Research Council to develop a new research school. The money will be used to strengthen the teacher educators' ability to teach digital techniques in education. “Inspiring and developing,” says Ylva Lindberg, head of research at the School of Education and Communication, Jönköping University, who has been the university's representative while working on the application.

Information about Jönköping University's students in Hong Kong
Jönköping University (JU) recommends their exchange students to leave Hong Kong. This assessment is made after discussions with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Utrikesdepartementet, UD) both in Stockholm and on site in Hong Kong, and after information from all Hong Kong partner universities that no teaching will be conducted on site for the rest of the semester, meaning that the students can finish their studies online.
