Meet the PhD

In 2014 and 2017, four PhD students in Economics and four PhD students in Business Administration were admitted to a sandwich doctoral program at JIBS in collaboration with the University of Rwanda. They are now well underway to completing their theses. 

The following PhDs from the University of Rwanda have now completed their doctoral education and successfully defended their theses:

Pierre defended is dissertation in Business Administration on June 12, 2020. 

Yvonne Umulisa

The prospects for the East African Monetary Union: An empirical analysis

Yvonne nailed her thesis digitally and defended her dissertation in Economics on April 29, 2020 in the first dissertation seminar held online with participants from Rwanda, Great Britain, Spain and Sweden.

Samuel Mutarindwa
