The RUSta project was conducted from 2014 to 2015 and was funded by the European Social Fund. The project’s name, RUSta, comes from the Regional Development Strategy (RUS) and the Swedish word rusta, which means to equip or prepare.

The goal of the project was to improve the framework of how society’s institutions promote inclusion of young people, those with disabilities, and those with foreign backgrounds.

Reports from previous projects were analysed in RUSta. An interview study was also conducted with representatives from 13 municipalities in Jönköping County.
